Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language therapy treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Works within an inpatient rehabilitation setting as part of Encompass Health, a national leader in post-acute care. Requires licensure/certification per state regulations, CCC certification, and CPR (within 30 days or already obtained). Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience. Provides compassionate care and contributes to patient outcomes and the organization’s growth.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CCC Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
