Job Summary
Provide speech and language evaluation, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs, identify issues and modify therapy as needed, and document patient progress. Requires state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master's degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience). Located with Encompass Health’s nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team; opportunities include growth, benefits, and continued education in post-acute care. Home-based role with remote work available in the Norfolk, VA area.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
