Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist providing speech and language rehabilitation to patients in a home-based setting. Responsible for evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans; identifying and modifying therapy approaches as needed; and tracking patient progress and response to treatment. Requires state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR either at hire or within 30 days. Master’s degree is preferred (or Bachelor’s degree with field experience). The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation framework, with a focus on evidence-based speech therapy, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
