Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrate patient victories along the way. This home-based role supports individuals overcoming communication challenges within Encompass Health's network of 150 nationwide locations. Current licensure or certification by state regulations and CCC completion are required, with a Master's degree preferred or a Bachelor's degree with field experience. CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
