Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify therapy protocols as required. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment while celebrating individual victories. Maintain current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification to practice. This home-based role supports patients in overcoming communication challenges within Encompass Health's national inpatient rehabilitation network, offering tuition reimbursement and a 401(k) matching plan.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
