Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatments as necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment while celebrating patient victories. Maintain current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification required by state regulations. This home-based role offers flexible scheduling for full-time and part-time employees at Encompass Health, a national leader in post-acute care with over 150 locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of Speech Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
