Job Summary
Speech Pathologist (SLP) position focused on home-based therapy delivering evaluation, development, and administration of personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities include assessing and addressing speech-language rehabilitation needs, identifying and modifying therapy approaches as needed, and tracking patient progress and response to treatment. Role supports community-based care within Encompass Health's national inpatient rehabilitation framework, emphasizing patient-centered outcomes, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and utilization of up-to-date therapeutic technology; requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a master's degree (or equivalent experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
