Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identify issues and modify therapy as necessary; track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; deliver speech-language pathology services in a home-based setting for Encompass Health, a nationwide rehabilitation leader; position involves working with patients to improve communication abilities using evidence-based practices and modern therapeutic tools; requires state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR compliance, and typically a Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) to qualify.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
