Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in adults and children. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, determining need for AAC devices, developing and implementing treatment plans to support literacy and social communication, collaborating with Clinical Directors and Consultants, providing parent training for families with ASD, and delivering care across multiple settings. Requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA Certification, at least 1 year of ABA experience preferred, and a valid Michigan driver’s license. The role emphasizes compassionate, team-based practice and adherence to professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, required
- ASHA Certification
- Valid Michigan State driver’s license, current automobile insurance and means of transportation.
- BCBSM and Medicaid Certification
- Ability to provide care in a variety of settings and/or situations.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate the ability to work well with members of a team.
- Demonstrate compliance with accepted professional standards and practice; and
- Demonstrate excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
