Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in both adults and children. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, assess need for AAC devices, provide parent training, and collaborate with Clinical Directors and teams to support literacy and social-communication goals. Requires performing culturally and linguistically relevant assessments, delivering ABA-integrated services, and maintaining professional standards across multiple settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing ABA services to children
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification
- Valid Michigan State driver’s license and automobile insurance
- BCBSM and Medicaid Certification
- Ability to provide care in a variety of settings
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, responsibility, and a positive attitude
- Demonstrate the ability to work well with members of a team
- Demonstrate compliance with accepted professional standards and practice
- Demonstrate excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills
