Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations to develop accurate diagnoses. Implement evidence-based therapies for these disorders, monitor treatment plans, and educate patients and families on communication improvements. Maintain accurate records of evaluations and progress while collaborating with healthcare providers in multidisciplinary team meetings. This split PRN position at St Francis Nursing and Rehab and Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia, NH, offers a pay range of $45-$55/hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP)
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
