Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations to develop accurate diagnoses. Implement evidence-based therapies for these disorders, monitor treatment plans, and educate patients and families on communication improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and progress while collaborating with healthcare providers in multidisciplinary team meetings. This PRN role requires weekday availability with hourly pay ranging from $55 to $60.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP)
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
