Job Summary
The Speech & Language Pathologist will provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in Hudson Public Schools, including supervision of SLPA, evaluation and reporting, MTSS and IEP collaboration, and ongoing communication with teachers and parents. Responsibilities include evaluating students, writing reports, advising on speech and language needs, coordinating with regular and special education staff, documenting progress and evaluations, supervising SLPA, and supporting goal development within IEPs across self-contained and shared programs. The role involves collaboration with teachers to modify assignments to meet speech and language objectives, participation in preschool/kindergarten screening when appropriate, and carrying out related duties as assigned. Requires Massachusetts State license and CORI/fingerprints; 10-month/183-day school year with salary distributed over 26 pay periods and benefits; physical requirements include occasional lifting and mobility within a school environment.
