Job Summary
Provide home-based speech therapy to patients with communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties, conducting assessments and documenting progress to ensure goals are met. Assist with exercises for mouth, breathing, swallowing, fluency, articulation, and reading while educating families on safety and self-care. Work within a home health team including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to support patient plans of care. Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active CA license, and one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in CA
- Minimum of 1 year of speech therapy experience
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
- Good clinical judgment
