Job Summary
Provide home-based speech therapy to patients with communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties due to illness or injury. Conduct patient assessments, document progress, and ensure goals are met while assisting with mouth, breathing, and swallowing exercises. Work as part of a home health team including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to support the patient's plan of care. Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety practices, and self-care. Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active CA SLP license, and minimum one year of speech therapy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in CA
- Minimum of 1 year of speech therapy experience
- CPR certification
