- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fulfilling Career

Provide home-based speech therapy to patients facing communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties due to illness or injury. Observe and evaluate patient abilities, conduct assessments, document progress, and ensure established goals are met. Assist with mouth, breathing, swallowing exercises, fluency, articulation, and reading. Work within a home health team including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and OTs to support the patient plan of care. Educate patients and families on safety practices, therapy goals, and self-care. Maintain active SLP licensure in CA, hold a master's or doctoral degree, and possess CPR certification.
