Speech Language Pathologist / SLP

Conduct screenings, patient evaluations, and establish goal-oriented treatment plans for speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Evaluate progressions to adjust plans as needed, provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems for those with severe expressive or comprehension disorders. Work with residents to improve communication effectiveness. This full-time role in Roanoke, VA requires standing, walking, and lifting objects over 50 pounds daily. The position supports Friendship Health & Rehab North's continuum of care for over 1,500 residents across four campuses.
