Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals. Provide individual and small-group therapy for speech, language, social communication, voice, and fluency while implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to integrate communication goals across educational environments and participate in IEP meetings. Maintain accurate documentation and provide consultation and training to staff on communication strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and/or developmental disabilities
  • Experience supporting students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
  • Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional growth

Desired Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligible
