Job Summary
Evaluate and treat students with communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, and voice. Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals while writing measurable objectives and tracking progress. Support students using AAC devices and strategies, and actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute to team-based planning. Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff while maintaining required documentation and adhering to school and state policies. Apply current best practices in speech-language pathology for pediatric populations. This school-based assignment in Key Largo, FL, serves K-12 students with diverse disabilities, offering clinical fellowship supervision for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility in progress)
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based or pediatric experience
- Experience as a School-Based SLP
- Educator/Teacher Certification if required by the state
