Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary
Direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in post-acute care settings. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support functional progress and quality of life. Oversees and evaluates CFYs for SLP CCCs (when applicable). Maintains ASHA credentialing criteria and state licensure. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email; demonstrates professional communication with patients, families, and staff; adheres to policies and codes of conduct. Provides patient-centered services across long-term and short-term rehabilitation populations, including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCC) OR must be eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in order to earn ASHA certification (CCCs)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
