Job Summary
Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function while monitoring progress and modifying plans as needed. Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care and complete accurate clinical documentation. This full-time role offers CFY mentorship and supervision within a supportive interdisciplinary team treating both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication skills
- Clinical reasoning skills
