Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/CFY/TSHH) needed to provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students aged 5-21 in a team-based, school-based/day program setting. Primary duties include evaluating and treating speech, language, social/cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders; developing and implementing individual and group therapy goals; coordinating services with interdisciplinary teams; providing mealtime plans and mealtime interventions; supervising CFY candidates; training day program staff and families; documenting outcomes; and maintaining current knowledge of treatment practices. Qualifications include NYS Certification in Speech and Language Pathology and a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred. The role involves collaborative work with teachers, therapists, and other professionals, and may include a summer session option with additional compensation. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to meet driving requirements as needed.
