Job Summary
Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with physician direction. Establish appropriate goals to maximize patient outcomes and facilitate a return to community activities. Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical services and available community resources. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and co-workers. Ensure effective delegation of discipline-specific therapy services. Requires current state licensure, CCC certification, and BLS certification. Schedule includes per diem weekday and weekend hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience
- Certified BLS through American Heart Association
- Two (2) years of experience
