Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs, and provide direct patient care under physician direction. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, hearing, cognitive, and swallowing issues; developing care plans and rehabilitation programs; administering and interpreting specialized tests; instructing residents, families, and caregivers; maintaining accurate documentation; devising tools and treatments tailored to patient needs; and traveling as needed to perform duties. Requires graduate-level education in Speech-Language Pathology (Master's or Doctorate) and an active state license; strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills; ability to collaborate with other professionals and care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Masters, or Doctorate in Speech language Pathology
- State license as a speech pathologist required.
