Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs. Under a physician’s direction, provides direct patient/resident treatment based on established plan of care; screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate care plans; conducts rehabilitative treatment to restore communicative efficiency; administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests; instructs residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and practice new skills; maintains patient records and completes required forms per policy and regulations; devises tools and treatments tailored to patient needs; traveling as needed to perform job.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Masters, or Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology
- State license as a speech pathologist required
