Speech Language Pathologist / SLP

Job Summary
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences, and perform discharge evaluations to recommend home and community safety resources. Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, families, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated care. Provide referrals and education resources while collaborating with the team to enhance patient outcomes. Requires a Master's degree, valid license, CPR certification, and one year of SLP experience. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
- Current CPR Certification
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Duties require fine motor skills

Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred
