Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients with communication needs in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Identify issues and modify therapy as necessary; track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrate patient victories as part of a collaborative care team. Requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days of hire); Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience). Fort Lauderdale, FL location; full-time role with benefits starting day one at Encompass Health.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
