Job Summary
Implement pediatric speech-language pathology services in home and community settings, including evaluating patients, developing goals, and creating and implementing speech therapy treatment plans. Educate, coach, and empower caregivers to transfer therapeutic activities into daily routines. Coordinate with referral partners and instruct families on home exercise programs. Maintain confidentiality and document care in an electronic medical record system. This role requires ASHA certification, a state license, and current CPR certification; typically involves part-time or full-time schedules with comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities also include documenting care, collaborating with physicians, and providing patient-centered care with ongoing mentorship and training opportunities.
