Job Summary
Provide pediatric speech-language pathology services in home and community settings. Implement treatment programs addressing cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional disabilities to help children develop or regain communication and functional skills. Develop goals and therapy plans in collaboration with physicians; educate, coach, and empower caregivers to carry over therapeutic activities in daily routines. Coordinate with referral partners and ensure continuation of therapeutic plans after discharge through home exercise programs. Document patient care and care coordination in an electronic medical record system while maintaining patient confidentiality. Required Qualifications
- ASHA certification
- Texas State SLP License
