Speech Language Pathologist SLP - Acute Care

Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in modifying plans of care based on evolving patient conditions and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, daily encounter notes, and progress summaries. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility to ensure frictionless patient access. Pursue continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor new staff, students, and volunteers.
