Job Summary
Conduct screening, evaluation, and treatment planning for patients, incorporating family input into goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evolving health conditions, consult with healthcare professionals, and modify plans when necessary. Complete discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of patient care activities including daily notes and progress summaries. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility to ensure frictionless patient access. Pursue continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor new staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
