Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based speech therapy services for adult and NICU populations in accordance with state guidelines. Assess patient progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate patient care documentation. Participate in clinical education, continuing education programs, departmental initiatives, and program development efforts designed to enhance patient outcomes. This role serves both adult and NICU populations, offering a diverse clinical experience within a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to helping patients achieve communication, cognitive, feeding, and swallowing goals.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Current Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) within 2 years of hire
