Job Summary
Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans. Monitor residents' progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and record information on initial evaluations, treatment, progress, and discharge. Observe and assess progress to prepare detailed reports while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards. Collaborate cooperatively with healthcare team members to contribute to a unified team effort. This role supports individuals overcoming rehabilitation challenges to regain independence at Glens Falls Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Queensbury, New York.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited SLP Program
- Current New York State SLP License
- Current evidence-based practices consistent with the standards and recommendations of the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association
- Currently licensed in New York
- Graduate from an approved Speech Language Pathology (SLP) program
- Actively working toward obtaining licensure
