Job Summary
Conduct Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans. Monitor resident progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and record initial evaluations, treatment details, and discharge information. Observe progress, prepare detailed reports, and maintain confidentiality while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Collaborate cooperatively with healthcare team members to support patient goals. Administer current evidence-based practices consistent with American Speech-Language-Hearing Association standards.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited SLP Program
- Current New York State SLP License
- Currently licensed in New York
- Graduate from an approved Speech Language Pathology (SLP) program
- Actively working toward obtaining licensure

- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting
