Job Summary
Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for speech and language services and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide individual and group therapy for students with speech, voice, and language disorders while participating in ARD/IEP meetings to support placement and goal development. Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom strategies and communicate progress with parents and stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation and provide professional development to school staff. This part-time role requires a Master's degree, a valid California SLP license, and a driver's license, with a school-year schedule aligned to the academic calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California license issued by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA)
- Valid driver's license meeting district requirements
- Ability to administer and interpret speech and language assessments
- Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
