Job Summary
Conduct speech therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans, while monitoring progress and adjusting treatments accordingly. Record initial evaluations, treatment details, progress, and discharge information, and prepare detailed reports. Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Collaborate cooperatively with healthcare team members to support patient goals. This role is based at the Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Elizabethtown, New York, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited SLP Program
- Current New York State SLP License
- currently licensed in New York
- graduate from an approved Speech Language Pathology (SLP) program
- actively working toward obtaining licensure
