Job Summary
Provide school-based speech-language therapy to students across preschool through high school, including conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and delivering individual and small-group therapy. Address articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, social/pragmatic communication, fluency, and voice disorders; adapt therapy for different ages and developmental levels. Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, and other special education staff; participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions; maintain progress notes and compliance records; communicate regularly with families. Eligible to hire CF-SLP/CFY with mentorship; role supports a passionate, mission-driven team focused on student success.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
- Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience working in pediatrics or school-based therapy preferred
- Mentorship available for CF-SLP/CFY
