Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist employed by Shore Educational Collaborative will provide direct speech-language pathology services to students from pre-kindergarten to age 22 within a school setting, work as part of a team of related services providers, and participate in IEP processes. Responsibilities include direct services to students, consultative services to educators, staff and families, documentation, and potential provision of services to other school districts. All staff who manage behavior must have Shore's behavioral safety training (Safety Care or equivalent) to meet safety requirements. The role includes a six-week summer program and may involve services beyond the initial district. Required qualifications include ASHA-accredited master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current MA licensure, eligibility for clinical fellowship, Praxis exam pass, and Safety Care certification; Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System participation is noted for teachers in educational collaboratives.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
