Job Summary
Per diem Speech Therapist conducts screenings of residents to determine need for evaluation, evaluates residents per physician orders for swallowing, communication, and cognition, and provides Speech Therapy treatment to residents. Works as an integral member of the rehab department and interdisciplinary team at one location with no daily travel; flexible schedules. Must hold a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology and a Florida license, be computer/tech savvy, and have experience with swallowing disorders and bedside swallow evaluation. Starting pay rate is $55.00 per hour and up.
Required Qualifications
- Masters in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- A current Florida Speech Therapy Pathology License
- Experience with Swallowing Disorders and bedside swallow evaluation
