Job Summary
Conduct home visits to clients in designated Anne Arundel County territories to perform thorough evaluations for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. Develop and revise treatment plans based on physician orders, while educating patients and family members on rehabilitative care and independent living strategies. Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Maintain a current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license and possess solid computer skills with preferred EMR experience. Earn base pay of $66.00-70.00 per point as a full-time employee with access to comprehensive benefits, training, and career advancement tracks.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Have the equivalent educational requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and work experience necessary for such a certificate, and be awaiting the opportunity to take the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association examination for certification
- Have completed the necessary work and education requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and be in the process of accumulating the necessary supervised work experience required for certification
