Job Summary
Screen residents, evaluate patients for therapy, and optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing skills through individual and group treatment while supervising rehab techs. Direct interdisciplinary collaboration, manage case conferences, and develop new rehabilitation programs ensuring compliance with state guidelines, billing standards, and Reliant Rehabilitation policies. Maintain valid state licensure, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and perform patient lifting up to 30 pounds. This role requires travel between facilities, varying shifts including weekends and holidays, and attendance at all mandatory trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
- Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds of dead weight alone
- Must be able to travel between facilities during scheduled hours
- Must be able to work varying hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, productive work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Basic Internet navigation skills
