Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services in Milwaukee, WI. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and social communication needs; develop and implement IEPs; provide direct therapy in individual, group, and classroom settings; address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic skills; collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams; maintain DPI/IDEA-compliant documentation; participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews; provide education and consultative support to staff and families; contract up to 40 hours/week with time-and-a-half for approved overtime; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with 4% match, PTO, holidays, supplies reimbursement, and professional development support.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS)
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) School-Based Speech and Language Pathologist License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
Desired Qualifications
