Job Summary
Provide Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) services for 42-50 students on a long-term leave contract. Responsibilities include supporting language development, creating and implementing IEPs, collecting and analyzing data on IEP goals, collaborating with IEP teams and parents, conducting speech-language evaluations and writing reports, maintaining ISBE/IDEA-compliant records, CCC supervision, and educating staff and parents on strategies to enhance communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) License
- Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
