Job Summary
Direct speech-language therapy services for students in school settings across multiple modalities (one-on-one, small group, and classroom). Conduct and interpret assessments to determine student needs; develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans; address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams; maintain records per NCDPI/IDEA requirements; participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions; train and support staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations. Licensure and credentialing as required by North Carolina; CCC-SLP preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Professional Educator’s License in Speech-Language Pathology (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
