Job Summary
Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students, conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans, delivering therapy in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges, collaborating with teachers and families, maintaining records in line with MDE/IDEA guidelines, participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions, and training staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (issued by the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology)
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check
- CCC-SLP - Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred
