Job Summary
Provide direct therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom settings; conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs; develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student; address articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression, and social communication; collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams; maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress in ISBE/IDEA compliance; participate in IEP meetings and evaluations; educate and support staff and parents on strategies to enhance communication skills; flexible contract opportunities up to 40 hours per week; benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, and professional development support; located in Shorewood, IL, United States.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) License
- Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
