Job Summary
Full-time on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school serving PreK–12 in Redwood City, CA. Responsibilities include direct therapy, assessments, development of IEP plans, progress evaluation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Role features guaranteed hours, on-site duties, and a stipend/benefits package. Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
- National License: ASHA
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- CF-SLP placement may be available
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
