Speech Language Pathologist - School Contract

Job Summary
Assess receptive and expressive communication and swallowing needs of impaired patients under physician referral to develop treatment goals. Objectively and quantifiably evaluate baseline levels of communication, voice, fluency, language, and swallowing for each referred patient. Plan and implement dynamic treatment programs designed to achieve measurable outcome goals based on clinical response. Provide assessments and screenings in response to referrals to determine areas of need for students within the rural school contract setting. Schedule includes normal hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for a 4/10 block schedule. Requires a Master's degree, current Idaho license, and CCC eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech/Language Pathology curriculum, or eligible for graduation within the next 6 months
- Master's Degree required
- Current Idaho Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); or be eligible for, and actively working on completion of the Clinical Fellowship year
- Current BLS
