Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for implementing speech-language pathology services, conducting evaluations, administering therapy programs, and preparing necessary documentation. Essential duties include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, collaborating with healthcare providers, maintaining clinical competency, and instructing patients and caregivers. Qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree in speech-language pathology, clinical experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license. The role does not have supervisory responsibilities and offers a pay scale of $100-$110 per visit.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses a master’s or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP)
- Completion of a 300-hour supervised clinical practice or evidence of completion of no less than 36 weeks of supervised professional full-time experience or 72 weeks of professional part-time experience
- Passage of a Board-approved examination
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possesses and maintains current CPR/First Aid certification and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Valid in-state driver’s license, current registration and insurance, and a driving record
