Job Summary
Conduct examinations and treatments for individuals referred to speech therapy, then organize and construct treatment plans of care designed to restore function, prevent disability, and assist in attaining maximum functional levels. Ensure all written plans of care adhere to documentation standards set by the North Carolina Board for Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists and CMS. Maintain Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Science and Disorders, hold annual North Carolina licensure, ASHA clinical competence certificate, and BLS certification with one year of clinical experience. Join the Rehabilitation team at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology program or Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders
- Annual certificate of licensure by the State of North Carolina
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech language pathology awarded by ASHA
- BLS certification
- One (1) year of clinical experience
